HOURS; MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 8:00AM TO 5:00PM SATURDAY 7:00AM TO 7:00PM SUNDAY 7:00AM TO 6:00PM

CURRENT CONDITIONS: All campsites and fishing access areas are open. Park office is closed on Wednesdays due to staff shortage. Weeds aren’t any worse but still a trolling issue, Have seen spotty rain and occasional hail with weather cells moving quickly through. NO FIRE BAN. Air quality smoke has been bad but improving. As you may have heard many parts of Colorado are effectedJet Stream related from Canada.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION: They have made it to Stoll. No work done on weekend.

Eleven Mile crawfish are not your average “mud bugs” as they are sometimes referred to. To be sure they are bottom feeders and eat whatever, they live in some seriously high altitude clean water. Not to brag but we have some New Orleans roots and 40 years of crawfish boiling here at the lake. With celebration in mind come see us on Saturdays in August about Noon to 2:00PM for an Eleven Mile Boil!! with all the fixins. Free and open to all while they last.

TROUT: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: Last week had to be one of the best of the Summer for many anglers. Shore or boat the fish were biting. Cuttbows, Cutthroats and Browns all making an appearance. Smiles were all over the lake. Bait, lure or fly it was like Springtime in July. Hard to say what was the most effective bait. From shore it would have to be Power Bait with garlic. We have the latest Power Bait garlic offerings. From boat lots of different baits were producing stop in to find out the latest hot bait. It changes almost daily sometimes.

KOKANEE SALMON: POOR: Most anglers striking out. Every now and then a four year old has been turning up. Same old same old here. Not saying you can’t catch one but not happening like we want.

NORTHERN PIKE: GOOD TO VERY GOOD: The bite was on for sure last week. Tubes, spoons, stick and who would have thunk it…Garlic Power Bait. April got hers on an undisclosed color of tube jig. Maybe she’ll tell you if you stop in and ask nicely. A variety of times with nothing specific. Can’t catch em if you don’t go.

SPECIAL NOTE: 11 Mile Marina is located at the North Shore in Eleven Mile State Park, Lake George Colorado. A CPW Park Pass is required on all vehicles entering the Park.  Any fees for Guide/Outfitter/Rental services do not include Park fees, CO fishing license or gratuities.

The WEEKLY FISHING REPORT is produced by fishermen for fishermen. We try to get it done every Thursday but some times fishing or life gets in the way.
